Tutor biographies:Elspeth Guild is a partner at Kingsley Napley LLP and an internationally acknowledged expert in the field of European immigration law. She acted as Special Advisor to the House of Lords Inquiry into Economic Migration in the EU, and is involved in training judges in EU law. She convenes ILPA's European Working Group and holds a part-time chair as Professor of European Migration Law at the University of Nijmegen in Holland.

Gillian Brownlee is Legal Counsel (FCILEx) in Kingsley Napley's Immigration team.  She has many years experience in advising international corporations on UK immigration, as well as managing global and compliance projects, advising high net worth individuals and representing clients on the Points Based System.

Shahirur Choudhury joined Kingsley Napley’s immigration team in 2011.  Shahirur currently advises large corporate clients from the oil and gas industry, financial services as well as legal sectors on all areas of the Points Based System.  He possesses an in depth knowledge on Sponsor Licence applications and Tier 2 compliance and frequently attends Home Office compliance visits.  Shahirur also holds expert knowledge on Schengen visas, Van der Elst visas and complex nationality issues.  He regularly provides internal and external training on all aspects of Schengen visas.
