DT 1360 Nationality law: registration of children

By the end of this session practitioners will have a thorough and detailed understanding of the more difficult and complex issues that arise when making applications for the registration of a child as a British citizen.
Adrian Berry is a barrister at Garden Court Chambers.  Chambers UK describes him thus:” has a "first-class brain" ... Amongst other things, he stands out for his expertise in British nationality matters.”  He is a member of ILPA’s Executive Committee.

Alison Harvey is a non-practising barrister and General Secretary of ILPA. She has written widely on nationality law.

Adrian Berry and Alison Harvey are both contributors to Fransman’s British Nationality Law (3rd edition, 2011) and have a particular interest in complex nationality questions both in the UK and overseas. Both of them have been involved in (successful) parliamentary lobbying to change nationality law as it deals with the registration of children.
