LRMN is a charity organisation providing support and services to refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Lewisham and neighbouring boroughs.

We are looking for two Immigration Advisers to join our immigration team.

Immigration Adviser 1 - Funded by Trust for London and Big Lottery for 28 hours/week for 1 year.

Immigration Adviser 2 - Funded by Big Lottery for 21 hours/week for 3 years to work mainly with women who have survived gender based violence.

To be successful you must be competent in conducting all tasks permitted at LSC level 2/OISC Level 3. You must have a wide experience in lodging human rights claim based on Article 8 ECHR and or working with women who have been trafficked, survived domestic abuse and other related gender based violence. With experience on representation at Tribunals, you should have great understanding of the changes to immigration and asylum law and practice. Ideal candidates should be familiar in working with multicultural communities particularly with vulnerable and destitute people often with No Recourse to Public Funds. Knowledge and experience of working with voluntary and community groups and other statutory agencies is desirable as well as experience of working with women sector.
