Why ILPA training?

  "...an invaluable and practical resource"

"This was one of the most informative and useful sessions I have attended..."

Quality and experience

ILPA has been providing training on all aspects of immigration, asylum and nationality law and practice to members and non-members alike since its foundation in 1984. Leading practitioners and experts in the field provide training to their peers.

The subjects of ILPA training sessions are identified by members, including in discussions at subcommittee meetings and at the training subcommittee. Sessions are pertinent to practitioners, designed with their needs and interests in mind.  ILPA's programme includes the courses that those who run training for profit or marketing purposes do not think profitable enough to run, alongside courses developed over many years through feedback from practitioners.

Support a good cause

All who participate in ILPA training are working together to achieve ILPA's objectives: to perform to the highest standards and to challenge injustice. Our trainers' commitment to deliveirng these unique, collaborative courses is a source of inspiration to all members and attendees.  Information from ILPA's influencing work and members' casework feeds into the training programme and information from those trained informs that work in its turn.

ILPA is a not-for-profit company and all profits from ILPA training go towards supporting work to fulfil ILPA's objectives.  Members of ILPA benefit from reduced rates for training.
